New IBM i Web Offerings

There are a couple of IBM i related offerings we want to make sure you are aware of, and we'd appreciate you passing this information to your members for their awareness.

1.  We have a new Power of IBM i webcast series we are sponsoring with System i Network, and more information and registration is available at this link.  The webcasts will all be available for replay on demand the day after the live event.

2.  Visit the IBM i website and check out the new video, IBM i, A System Designed for Business.  It was filmed at COMMON in May, which was a great backdrop for the variety of clients and partners who participated.

Samenwerking met NGN

Per 12 januari 2011 verkennen Common Nederland en NGN met elkaar hoe we naar de toekomst toe kunnen samenwerken. Common Nederland zou dan een zogenaamde Special Interest Group worden binnen NGN met behoud van haar eigen identiteit.

In 2011 zijn alle leden van Common Nederland tegelijkertijd ook lid van NGN. Andersom worden de NGN leden beschouwd als individuele leden van Common Nederland. U bent dus van harte uitgenodigd op alle evenementen die NGN organiseert. Tevens zult u collega's van NGN kunnen verwachten op de bijeenkomsten van Common Nederland.

Een tastbaar gevolg is dat u als Common-lid tien keer per jaar het blad IT-Infra ontvangt. Vier keer in 2011 zal dat blad vergezeld gaan van ons Common Magazine dat daarmee ook naar de NGN leden zal gaan om hen te informeren over onze vereniging. Wij hopen dat u nieuwe informatie en inspiratie zult opdoen met de combinatie van deze twee bladen.

Maak kennis met Common en ervaar wat het is om lid te zijn van het grootste onafhankelijke en internationale platform voor kennisuitwisseling en belangenbehartiging binnen de zakelijke ICT-markt. Al decennia lang is Common een begrip als forum voor de gehele ICTwereld, in het bijzonder voor IBM gebruikers, in Nederland, Europa en de USA. Common is primair een belangenvereniging en wie lid is van Common weet dat er serieus naar u geluisterd wordt. Common wil een brug slaan tussen ICT gebruikers en ICT leveranciers.

Als lid bent u een belangrijke gesprekspartner voor ICT leveranciers, met als resultaat een veel groter effect dan bij elke individuele relatie, want samen met andere leden van Common staat u sterker!

Beëindiging van het lidmaatschap

Het lidmaatschap van Common Nederland beslaat altijd een vol kalenderjaar.

Wilt u uw lidmaatschap beëindigen, dan moet dit voor 31 oktober van het lopende kalender worden gedaan. Dit kan alleen schriftelijk. U kunt de opzegging sturen aan het secretariaat van Common Nederland.

Een lidmaatschap kan niet per gedeelte van een kalenderjaar worden beëindigd.
