His mission is to provide consulting services to independent software vendors (ISVs), large IBM clients and other IBM organizations on issues related to DB2 for i5/OS. Before joining the ISV Enablement organization in 2000, he worked for several years at the IBM International Technical Support Organization (ITSO), also in Rochester, Minnesota, where he was the leading author of several popular IBM Redbooks® on databases. Jarek holds a Master’s degree in computer science and has almost 20 years of experience in the computer field. His areas of expertise include cross-platform database programming, database-performance tuning and database integration with emerging technologies (such as XML, Java and Microsoft .NET). |
